The FNM foil card to be awarded for April is Bloodbraid Elf. This card has been touted by many pundits as "too good". If you haven't got your playsets of the best card in standard, or just want to pimp out your Jund and Naya decks, come out and play for this amazing elf that could.
Next up, we have Rise of the Eldrazi on the horizon and approaching quickly. Our prerelease event falls on Sunday, April 18th. Those that attend, will receive this just for coming out (while supplies last) Holy crap that thing is big! Rise of the Eldrazi (ROE) will hit the market for sale on Friday, April 23rd. In addition to drafting it for FNM upon it's release, we will also be holding a release party on Sunday, April 25th. Both our prerelease event and release party will be sealed deck with an entry fee of $25.00. No word on the ROE release foil yet, but I will post it here once we find out what it is!

Hello again Magic players. Here are some of the details for February's events:
The FNM foil for February is Ghostly Prison. Looks like WOTC is giving us more tools for Extended play during the subsequent PTQ season. Also, Worldwake has arrived! Be one of the first twenty people to order a box from us and receive a special promotional version of Celestial Colonnade with your box. Our Worldwake release party falls on Sunday, February 7th. Here are some of the details:

11:00 am: registration begins ($25.00 entry)
12:15 pm - 1:00 pm: deck construction period
Sealed deck pools will consist of 3 packs of Zendikar and 3 packs of Worldwake
1:00 pm: tournament start
Participants will receive a release foil version of Joraga Warcaller (while supplies last).
Swiss paired rounds with a cut to top 8 players after regular rounds are played out.
Prized to be awarded to top 8 competitors and door prizes will also be given out randomly among those that don't make top 8.

Sunday, February 21st and Sunday, February 28th mark the return of our regular Sunday events. Entry will remain $5.00 and prizes will be awarded in store credit in roughly a 70/30 split of the entry pool between 1st and 2nd place. This month both Sunday events will be Standard constructed with Worldwake.

Speaking of Worldwake, (gotta love dem seques) we will be holding a sealed deck prerelease tournament on Sunday, January 31st at noon. Here's the lowdown:

Time: 11am - 12pm registration

Entry Fee: $25.00 per player.
*Format: Zendikar Block Sealed. Players will receive three packs of Zendikar and three packs of Worldwake to build a forty-card deck. Swiss rounds with cut to top 8.
Prizes of Worldwake booster packs to be distributed among top 8 competitors. Prize amounts will be determined by attendance. (2 packs will be added to the total prize pool per entrant in the tournament.)

Just a last minute update for our Magic players who follow this blog. We will be running a Standard tournament on Sunday, November 29'th at 4:30 pm.
