The FNM foil for February is Ghostly Prison. Looks like WOTC is giving us more tools for Extended play during the subsequent PTQ season. Also, Worldwake has arrived! Be one of the first twenty people to order a box from us and receive a special promotional version of Celestial Colonnade with your box. Our Worldwake release party falls on Sunday, February 7th. Here are some of the details:
11:00 am: registration begins ($25.00 entry)
12:15 pm - 1:00 pm: deck construction period
Sealed deck pools will consist of 3 packs of Zendikar and 3 packs of Worldwake
1:00 pm: tournament start
Participants will receive a release foil version of Joraga Warcaller (while supplies last).
Swiss paired rounds with a cut to top 8 players after regular rounds are played out.
Prized to be awarded to top 8 competitors and door prizes will also be given out randomly among those that don't make top 8.
Sunday, February 21st and Sunday, February 28th mark the return of our regular Sunday events. Entry will remain $5.00 and prizes will be awarded in store credit in roughly a 70/30 split of the entry pool between 1st and 2nd place. This month both Sunday events will be Standard constructed with Worldwake.

The FNM foil card for January is Tidehollow Sculler. Will this little zombie begin to have more impact on standard come Worldwake? Only time will tell. Speaking of Worldwake, (gotta love dem seques) we will be holding a sealed deck prerelease tournament on Sunday, January 31st at noon. Here's the lowdown:
Time: 11am - 12pm registration
12pm start
Entry Fee: $25.00 per player.
*Format: Zendikar Block Sealed. Players will receive three packs of Zendikar and three packs of Worldwake to build a forty-card deck. Swiss rounds with cut to top 8.
Prizes of Worldwake booster packs to be distributed among top 8 competitors. Prize amounts will be determined by attendance. (2 packs will be added to the total prize pool per entrant in the tournament.)
* Please note that sealed pools have been changed from 2 packs of Zendikar and 4 packs of Worldwake to 3 of each. This change has been made to comply with Wizards of the Coast instructions for Worldwake Prerelease sealed pools. Sorry for the confusion.
Also, for those of you who like to purchase a booster box when a new set is released, keep this in mind: The first 20 people to preorder a box of Worldwake from us (only $125.00 tax incl.) will receive this special promo card when they pick up their box.
Finally, I just wanted to highlight the standard event on Sunday, January 10th at 4:30 pm. Entry is only $5.00 and prizes of store credit are paid out in a 70/30 split between 1st and 2nd place. I will be away through the middle of the month, but stay tuned in February for more of these Sunday events to resume.
