The FNM foil card for January is Tidehollow Sculler. Will this little zombie begin to have more impact on standard come Worldwake? Only time will tell. Speaking of Worldwake, (gotta love dem seques) we will be holding a sealed deck prerelease tournament on Sunday, January 31st at noon. Here's the lowdown:

Time: 11am - 12pm registration
12pm start
Entry Fee: $25.00 per player.
*Format: Zendikar Block Sealed. Players will receive three packs of Zendikar and three packs of Worldwake to build a forty-card deck. Swiss rounds with cut to top 8.
Prizes of Worldwake booster packs to be distributed among top 8 competitors. Prize amounts will be determined by attendance. (2 packs will be added to the total prize pool per entrant in the tournament.)

Finally, I just wanted to highlight the standard event on Sunday, January 10th at 4:30 pm. Entry is only $5.00 and prizes of store credit are paid out in a 70/30 split between 1st and 2nd place. I will be away through the middle of the month, but stay tuned in February for more of these Sunday events to resume.

Entry is $5.00 and the 1st and 2nd place finishers are to be awarded a 70/30 split of the entire entry pool in store credit. Additional prizes may be awarded based on attendance. Just a last minute update for our Magic players who follow this blog. We will be running a Standard tournament on Sunday, November 29'th at 4:30 pm. The entry fee is only $5.00 and prizes will be awarded in store credit for 1'st and 2'nd place in a 70/30 % split as determined by the total entry pool.
