Bremerhaven's name may not roll off the tongue but you won't be able to stop talking about it! If you like clearly structured but complex economic games (and who doesn't) Bremerhaven is for you. Based on the Harbour town in North Germany, each player builds his own unique harbour and tries to  reach the highest combination of money and prestige by the end of the game.

The Firefly gang is back in a new comic written by Zack Whedon and featuring the artist who drew season 8 and 9 of the Buffy comic. It's the next best thing to a series revival and as usual it is executive produced by Joss Whedon making sure it's the classic characters and universe you love! Shiny!

The Unwritten Vol.2

The second collection of this literary comic continues the tribulations of Tom Taylor, who may be the fantasy novel character Tommy Taylor written by his father come to life. Wait-Whut? What does that-huh? I don't know what that means but the critics love it and the art is beautiful! You know what-I'm gonna go read it.

Bring a standard deck from any era of Magic and battle to see who will reign supreme.  
You will be allowed to use 8 well done proxies in your deck. Gold bordered cards are valid proxies. 
There will be a banned list for this event. Any card that is currently on the legacy banned list or was banned during a standard season will be banned.

L.A. Mood's February Heroclix Schedule

All events Begin at 6:00pm unless posted otherwise

February 6 Avengers vs X-Men Month One
$10 Entry fee
400 point, Sealed/Constructed event. Prior to the start of the event, players will purchase one (1) HeroClix five-figure booster or Five (5) Single figure boosters and declare if they are either fighting for the Avengers OR the X-Men.  (if they haven’t already)

Each participant may bring to the event no more than 300 points of HeroClix figures, utilizing at least one (1) figure from their selected Avengers vs. X-Men (AvX) starter (either the AvX: Avengers or X-Men starter.)

Players will then utilize a combination of the contents of their booster and their selected constructed elements to finalize their 400 point team. Players MUST use at least one figure from the corresponding Marvel HeroClix: Avengers vs. X-Men (AvX) starter product (i.e. Avengers players must use at least one figure from the AvX Avengers starter, and X-Men players must use at least one figure from the AvX X-Men starter. Games will be played on either the two maps included in the Kit
Prizes: Lei Kung, the Thunderer Figure for First, Second & Fellowship

February 27 Medieval Fantasy Event!
Build a 500 pt team from only fantasy setting figures
Lord of the Rings, Hobbit, Mage Knight, Assassin’s Creed are the main sets to build from.
But figures from other sets may be used as long they belong in Fantasy setting, Up to the Judge’s Discretion

Tash-Kalar: Arena of Legends 

Tash-Kalar: Arena of Legends is a game played by masters of magic. Two to four summoners encounter each other in the Tash-Kalar arena, either in teams or each on his own, and prove their skill and strategy in a short but intense battle. By clever deployment of their minions, they create magic patterns for summoning powerful beings, and then use those to destroy their opponent’s forces or to prepare patterns for the ultimate legendary beings.

Dead Panic

Zombies! Zombies! Zombies! In Dead Panic, each player takes on the role of one of eight unique characters, which have special abilities. Players work together to survive in a remote cabin, at the center of the board, against waves of the undead that close in from the edges of the board. If the players can hold out, survivors bring pieces of the radio needed to call for rescue. Once rescue arrives, it's up to each player to leave the safety of the cabin and make it out alive! 

River Dragons

In River Dragons, you want to move your pawn over a system of bridge-like planks to the other side of the board. An easy task! Or at least it would be if everyone were working together, but alas you're not. Instead you're all working on your own right next to one another, each convinced that your way is best.
