Good Luck Jeremy!

It is with sad heart we say good-bye and good luck to Jeremy! Jeremy has worked at L.A. Mood's since 2003. He has moved on to take that giant step into the corporate world. You can now visit Jeremy at Bell World in Masonville Mall, he'll be in Customer Service. No more mom&pop operation for him, no more fan-boy discussions of the latest x-men antics, it will be fists raised, "My dog ate my cell phone, what do you mean I have to pay for a new one!" for him. We wish him the best of luck! He will be sorely missed! One of our customers, Dan Brown, from the Free Press will miss him so much he wrote this on-line.

Heroclix fans don't have to worry, though, Jeremy will still be running events at L.A. Mood's Underground. They are tentatively scheduled for Thursday evenings, as long as his schedule permits. Jeremy will continue to post updates for Heroclix on this blog.

Another Sinkhole!
This time in front of our store! Can I complain about London's aging infrastructure?!

It starts with a small hole on Friday...

They spend the day trying to fix it....

But come Wednesday, the repair had sunk down, so they spent the day digging deeper! 3 lanes wide and 3 metres deep!

But by 6PM Wednesday they had filled the hole back up and added some paving. I didn't think they could do it in one day! But how long will it last?

Free Press links here and a video here (search Richmond St Sinkhole, Feb 20, 2008 if it is not the first video up on that page)

What I've been reading lately....
Gordzilla and I went to visit our yankee friends in Michigan last weekend. I like to take some TP's with me to read on the train. I took Kabuki volume 1: Circle of Blood and Kabuki volume 2: Dreams (see photo below). Awesome! I highly recommend them if you haven't read them yet. David Mack is an amazing storyteller and artist. Simply put Kabuki is a high bred assassin that works secretly for the Japanese government with a group called the Circle of Noh. Full of intrigue and violence, plunge yourself into her world and into her head, it will blow you away! Many of you have probably seen Mack's covers, he's done covers for Daredevil, Alias, and more, but Kabuki is his baby! Plus, look for his art in the upcoming Avengers #39. I will be restocking his Kabuki tp's in the next few weeks, so come on down and check it out!
