CCG Schedule for April 2012

Hello, Magic and L5R players!  Thank you all for your feedback!  Our $2 FNM entry fee has been warmly welcomed and we will be continuing it for April!

Also changing is our Casual night - now being held on Wednesdays each night as opposed to Sundays, get over humpday by bashing heads with your friends in the L.A. Mood Underground, 6:30 p.m. and onward.

As a reminder, the formats for FNM are as follows:

FNM Standard - 

Start Time 6:30; 
Entry Fee $2; 
Swiss Rounds; 
Prizes consist of 3 booster packs for every four entrants, distributed 30%-20%-20%-10%-5%-5%-5%-5% to the Top 8 finishers, rounded down to a minimum of one, with remainders going to the top two players.  FNM foils distributed to the Top 2 players automatically.


FNM Drafts -  
Start Time approx. 8:30 (after two rounds of Standard); 
Entry Fee $10; 
Keep What You Draft; 
Swiss Rounds;
Latest Draft Format (e.g., currently DA/INN/INN); 
Prizes consist of 3/2/1/1 booster pack prizes (based on 8 players) to the Top 4 and FNM foils distributed to the Top 2 players automatically.

Saturday, March 31st - Infinite Magic at L.A. Mood! Free 8-man Standard and Modern Constructed queues and $12 8-man Rare Re-draft DKA/INN/INN Drafts available starting at 12:00 pm and going until interest wanes.  Get those last few Planeswalker Points for the Nationals Cutoff!
Monday, April 2nd - Monday Night Draft! DKA/INN/INN. 6:30 pm start time, $12 entry fee, rare re-draft.

Wednesday, April 4th - Casual Magic!  6:30 pm start time, no entry fee.  All formats welcome!
Friday, April 6th - FNM! Standard-legal deck required. 6:30 pm start time, $2 entry fee.  $10 3-2-1-1 draft available at 8:30 pm.

April FNM Prize foil is Dismember!!!  That's right, three exclamation points!  I'm super-excited!

Also available for players who participate in the April 6th FNM event - this very slick double-faced token card, the Human Wolf!  Or Wolf Human.  Wu-man?  Hum-olf?  I can't decide.

Duel Decks: Venser vs Koth. is in!  It will be on our shelves Friday, March 30th!

Remember that it's never too early to pre-order special sets like Planechase 2 or upcoming Duel and Premium Decks!  We're offering a 20% discount if you preorder all four Planechase 2 decks!

This is the month to preorder Avacyn Restored!  Our preorders are filling up fast and only the first thirty box preorders are eligible for the Buy-A-Box Promo (TBA).  Remember, our preorder price is $100, tax included, and you'll be able to pick up your box at Midnight (12:01 a.m. Friday!)  Also on special:  Avacyn Restored Fat Packs for $30, plus tax, May 4th to 6th only!
